OK...So I've made Kobi's video public now thru YouTube. So I'm hoping that makes all of you in blog world able to view the video and hear my little mans laugh. However now it looks off center and I have no idea how to fix that. I am open to suggestions...anyone have an idea??
I'm learning as I go with this blog and I hope this video works! Kobi should be sleeping but instead is cracking up with daddy. I had to share. He's such a happy baby...

Thank you everyone who could attend the shower. I know the weather did get bad & I hope you all made it home safely. It meant so much to Matthew & I seeing all those happy faces (that drove & flew) great distances to be there! I think that Matthew & I are truly blessed to have all of you as such a wonderful group of family & friends sharing in Kobi's "Welcome to America/ Baby Shower party"! Cassie, G-mama & Nai-Nai we cant thank you enough for throwing this event for Kobi!

THE HIGHCHAIR HAS ARRIVED!!!! (only one month late...)
"Thank you G-Mama! I love my highchair and so does mama!"
Today was Kobi's first doctor appointment. Matthew and I took him down the road so he could see a special pediatrician that specializes in International Adoption. Dr Crawford was great and Kobi seemed to like him very much to which made the visit a pleasant one. Well...almost pleasant. Matthew and I had to hold poor baby Kobi down while the nurse gave him a shot. Thinking that was the worst of the visit (and now its over and we can take Kobi home) . Nope! We were given the name of another Pediatrician to see. Poor Kobi's belly button hernia might be to bad to correct itself and the doctor wanted another opinion. Then Matthew and I were sent away to get blood work done. I dreaded this part but figured we better get it done today! So my poor little man had to be restrained by Matthew and the whole crew at the blood lab while they removed 8 vials of blood. This I stayed out of the room for while I listened to the worst blood curdling scream I've ever heard. They had to remove blood from both arms and his foot. My poor, poor baby Kobi!! He came out of the room screaming and looking like something from the Mummy Returns! I just picked him up right away after his traumatic ordeal and he eventually stopped crying. I felt so bad in fact that I made Matthew drive the car home while I sat in the back with Kobi feeding him his baby rice cakes the whole time.
Thank Goodness that parts over!!

"I know...can I check out the home theater? I've been really good!"
"I know the perfect movie but I'm starting to get hungry! " 
"A whole pear just for me!"
"You say if I eat this whole pear I can go watch my movie?"
"Finally I made it to the movie room... I cant wait to watch my movie!"
"I'm just gonna close my eyes for one second..."
Poor baby Kobi slept through his first movie "Baby Mozart by Baby Einstein". There's always tomorrow...Sweet Dreams little man!

"You thought I would crawl but rolling is fun too..."

"Yeah... I got the block all by myself!"

Little Kobi has changed by leaps and bounds since Taiwan! Yesterday he crawled for the first time. It was so cute! He dropped his belly on the floor and just started "Swimming" across the rug! Today he started to pick up food and feed himself. That's my boy!
These are other things I have noticed since December 18th...
~He makes a cute clicking noise with his mouth. Of course daddy taught him that one.
~He wakes up wanting two bottles at a time now. Yes two!
~He loves any food that is put in his mouth!
~He wants to have "Flying Air Kisses" at every moment of the day!
~He gives out the funniest laugh when I tickle him!
~He has a need for mama to carry him everywhere!
~He loves bath time!
and lastly he pees on Matthew once a day! Watch Out Daddy!!
