A Play Date AND...

I can not believe its been 1 week since I last posted! Where has the time gone. So sorry fellow bloggers for my slacking:) Let me catch everyone up!

Last week Kobi and I journeyed over to Miss Rachel's crib...Tell me... why does Kobi have all of the toys?? As always baby Rachel is to cute for words...Kobi was workin some kind-of squint and smile pose as he pretended to stand like a big boy...Yeah... I'm not to sure where he picked this look up.

Latter that week we journeyed to Gap Kids and bought the following...

PJ's for the beach and a shirt for the road!

I was feeling very compelled to buy this shirt since reading Sarah's blog post from May 30th...

OK so this doesn't even come close to what I bought but if I actually posted pictures of everything this would be 1 huge post! Kobi also has 2 new pairs of shoes and about 10 new shirts. What can I say between Gap Kids, Old Navy, Children's Place and the outlets I'm just forced to work. They drawl me in every time! Its like a Black hole!!

Moving on to last Tuesday now... Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual! Need I say more... oh that's right this is Kobi's blog:)

(I do all my own stunts!!) Captured after the Semi-Annual:)

Moving on to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday...
Kobi has officially 12 teeth now! As of today he has 4 more and was not a happy camper the past couple days. So sorry... no smiley, happy pictures to post. The past week wasn't to fun for Kobi but he is feeling much better now. (Keeping fingers crossed as I write this)

Happy 6 Months Baby!

I can not believe it has already been 6 months since the day Kobi was placed in our arms! He has changed so much in such a short time. He is crawling at "warp-speed", is finally saying mom, has 4 more teeth coming in all at once (this will be a total of 12!) and has me visiting Gap Kids on a weekly basis:) His new favorite foods are waffles with syrup and anything Italian! What can I say... he takes after his father:)

These days we are working on hugs and kisses. I love being greeted by Kobi's hugs on Sunday morning. Its more like...hug, kiss, hug, kiss, SMACK but we are working on that one:) Apparently I do not wake up fast enough for baby Kobi!

I love his little Eskimo kisses to!

Looking back now I can not believe the stress my body endured during Kobi's adoption! The endless nights of staring at EVA Air looking for cheap tickets to hop a plane and fly over. The panic attacks that would randomly come about while I was thinking about anything but Kobi's adoption and the hours I spent on collecting paperwork and re-reading paperwork and praying that everything was going to workout alright. Saturday marked our finally post-placement and I gotta tell you it was the best feeling in the whole world. (You know minus, Wedding Day, Gotcha Day...those kind-of days:) To finally check that off our list was a great accomplishment! To know that Matthew and I have had him for as long as what the Taiwan court process took (at least for us) is just an amazing feeling! This has also brought back many feelings of what it was like to wait and wait and wait for the referral call, the travel call, just to hear word of anything. I am feeling for all you waiting families right now. So I hope you all enjoy Kobi's "1st" with us and keep a head up! The waiting may be agony but the reward is indescribable:)

The Incident

OK so here is my sons facial expression this morning before he took his diaper off and went pee pee in the bed...

Him sticking his tongue out at me after he went pee pee in the bed!

*I thought the black and white added a classic touch to Kobi's pictures after this mornings incident... Gotta LOVE kids! :)

Sherry's Confession

Hello everyone! So I'll admit I am a Blog addict:) I try to check out my fellow Bloggers websites on a reasonable basis (once every other day) and I love to follow every one's journeys to their beautiful babies. Watching "Gotcha Day" video's is one of my favorite pastimes and they bring back so many wonderful feelings! Lately I have fallen in love with many of your "sad-crying-screaming-kicking-baby" pictures and videos. So this has inspired me to show one of mine. I cant thank you all enough for the sweet comments you leave. Yes... Kobi is an extremely happy little guy, Yes... he is full of life and YES... he will throw a random temper tantrum. So here you go... I thought I'd contribute as well. The Google Video below was taken "pre-haircut" but in any case this is usually how Kobi reacts when he is so abruptly taken from the swings. (You know after he has spent 1 hour on them... :)

More Before & After's...

Kobi really is a joy to be around but here he is in a NOT so joyous mood. He really wanted to be back on those swings rather than going to bed. So here you have it... A not so happy Kobi. (I had to post these pics for all to see! :)
Doesn't he look so sad? Its tough being 1.
Right before bed (This was taken with my camera so the quality is not so good)

After

Dinner Time

I do not know what is up with Kobi's sleep schedule these days?? He would sleep anywhere from 8PM until 9 or 10AM. Yesterday he woke up at 6:30 and the past couple days it has been around that same time! He also normally takes 2 naps during the day which is the only way I get anything done these days and yesterday... well lets just say that was a different story. NO NAP (I should say "naps") which left me with one cranky baby at 7PM. Here's a short video of how Kobi looked towards the end of the day...
