December 19th "One Touring Family of Three"

Today we visited the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall with NO RAIN...finally! I say this every time but it was HUGE and BEAUTIFUL! Kobi seemed to do well the whole time. Poor Matthew however was stuck carrying him the entire trip. (Mama's gotta get those pictures!) The picture below is the entrance to the CKS Memorial. The roof almost looked like terracotta but with a shiny blue twist. GORGEOUS!

The actual memorial itself. I wish I got a picture but the whole time a High School marching band was practicing in the court yard. I've never seen anything so precise...neither had Kobi (he loved the music).

View from the top.
A side building in the court yard. Fion had said they do musicals and special events inside. (What a fancy building!)

Next to the CKS Memorial was an immaculate park. So clean and full of fish the size of dogs! (That's no fish story!)
You can purchase fish food from this Giant fish. It was the size of me!

So we did. You can see Kobi is really excited again.
After a quick tour we decided to go back to the hotel and put Kobi down for a nap. You can see how well that worked. What a cute baby! We couldn't help but play with him. Nap time he fussed a little but you give him a toy and he plays himself to sleep. That's my boy!
