The last one is gorgeous- side lit, natural light. Love it. I also think the color looks best given the subject. Black and white doesn't do the hat and shoes justice. And the hat and shoes are such a focal point, you don't want to miss out on the vibrant colors.
That is a tough one, they are both so great. I think it would depend what you plan to use them for. Black and white is so camling and sweet. The color is so vivid and grabs your attention. And the subject? Well, he's just plain cute!
Sherry, I think I like the first two shots better... but not necessarily because they are in black and white. I think it is because you can see more of his hat in the first two than you can in the last two. I think in color the eye is drawn to the brightness of the hat and shoes. In black and white, the eye is drawn to the details in the stitching in the had and Kobi's lovely eyelashes that he won't want mommy kissing when he's 13.
I'm a sucker for black and white photos and these are wonderful. I especially liket he first one. The wonder on his face as he holds onto his foot...too cute
