Speaking of shoes... Kobi's new sneakers are huge! I will have to take pictures pronto for all to see. I was shocked to here that Kobi went up two sizes (now an 8XXW!) I swear I bought him shoes recently! Poor kid I've been squeezing size 6's on his sumo size feet. Whats next holey pants and social services? LOL!

Party, Party, PAR-TAY... Party!

Happy Birthday Baby Brady!

So today was the Brady-Man's 1st birthday! For all of you wondering who this beyond adorable little guy is, he belongs to one of my very best girlfriends that I have known since elementary school.


Now here is how the day played out. A 20 minute drive, meet and greet, say Happy Birthday then...


run for the swings! Brady's grandparents are the coolest! They had an awesome playset:)


Then we moved onto the tree...

and climbed that for awhile.

From there we spotted the baseball bat.

Then the ball.


Then the next logical thing seemed to be...


hit daddy with the bat!


Of course these pictures don't do Kobi's excitement justice.



He was so excited by the big kids (aka parents) playing football, wiffle ball, whatever, that he just kept running in their playing field with the bat. Yep... that's my kid hitting you with the bat!

Next thing this 1 year old remembers is being whisked away to the next party. That's right! Two parties in one afternoon.

At this party there were frisbee's (that Kobi rather wear), bubbles and people playing basketball.

So with a day like this here is Kobi pictured below after about one minute of being put in the carseat.

Hey There Good Lookin

I did it! Yes people I did! The old camera has been retired and a new (much cooler one) has emerged! I'm still trying to get the gist of how it works but have finally settled on the Nikon D60. It is so awesome to be able to just click, click, click away because God knows with a slow shutter speed and toddler running around I had had it with all the "missed good shots"! I am so happy with my new purchase!!! Can you tell? Apparently the D60 is also one of the smaller DSLR's out there and so I'm feeling oh so hip. Now if it only came in pink... LOL! I just wanted to thank everyone for their tips and advice. Trust me they were all fantastic and such a huge help in this department. Believe me... I am truly camera illiterate! :)

Of course I needed to throw one black and white in but I am just blown away by the Nikon's color! All these photo's were taken on the "Child's" setting. Who needs a manual this camera is fool proof!
