Half A World Away...

Just a couple months ago these adorable babies were living out their days in Feng-Yuan Taiwan. They were both adopted through TWCA and New Hope (since closed). All I can say is who ever thought they would travel a half a world away and find their forever families living right down the road from each other?

Kobi's 1st experience sharing toys... and hats!

Kobi would not stay still for any pictures. See Matthew's death grip on those arms? However Rachel was as cute as can be:) Isn't Rachel beautiful???
*On Sunday we had a gathering at our home for all the Taiwanese adoptive parents that live in our area (somewhat...I should say :) So far the only children home are Rachel and Kobi but it was nice to meet everyone and hear their adoption time lines. Almost everyone that came I have met online through Taiwan Adoption Groups and it was so nice to put names to faces. I hope you all had a good time and Kobi and I are looking forward to meeting your future Taiwanese kiddo's! Thanks for partying with us:)

What fun! Wish we didn't live on the other side of the country so Lauren and I could come join you! By the way, I don't think you're on our JOH Yahoo group, but the program is still going strong and with the same coordinator who ran things at New Hope.

How wonderful that you had a little gathering. Rachel is adorable and looks like she and Kobi will have fun getting to know each other.
