Playing With Daddy

So as always its bedtime and here is daddy rocking Kobi to sleep...Wait a minute! No he isn't!"Daddy bounce me on the couch again!"Well...I give daddy credit. It may not be how mama does it but baby Kobi did go to sleep.

HAPPY 2 MONTHS KOBI!!!

Today I decided to go blonder and poor Kobi was wondering what in the world!? He just did not know what to think.Our family has been together for two months now and Kobi is doing so well. He now is 9 months old, sleeps thru the night, eats everything in site and has no problem tagging along during mama's boring shopping excursions! What a trooper! Now if only I could train daddy to behave like that! He currently has 8 teeth, has had 2 hair cuts, walks holding onto furniture and says daddy and Todd. Don't ask me who Todd is but that is his second word... We our currently working on "Peek-A-Boo" and counting 1, 2, 3 along with saying it in Mandarin. He gets really excited when I say 3 (in either language). Its so funny...he lets out a major belly laugh. We celebrated the Chinese New Year at an Asian Festival in Maryland followed by partying with our Vietnamese friends. Kobi managed to stay up until 11 PM that night and was truly entertained by all the other children who were up past their bedtimes as well. I can not believe how well behaved he was despite the fact that he should have been sleeping. Earlier that day we had our 1st post-placement. Yeah...another check off the list! It went rather quickly and we will only need to do 1 more in June to finish up our adoption duties and re-adopt Kobi in Maryland.

***Hopefully very soon I can post our "Gotcha Day Video". It is taking me forever to complete but I would love to show it to everyone. I remember what it was like waiting for "The Call" and watching every ones videos of their special day. It really helped me get thru those months of waiting so I am trying my hardest to complete it for everyone in Blog Land so wish me luck and stay tuned...

My Little Sleeper

So long story short I removed the bumper pads from Kobi's bed after checking on him countless times to find him intertwined within his own bumper pads. So this morning I go into the nursery to check on him and find this. How does this little guy sleep so well?? You got me...
